Joining the meeting — set up before, not at start-minus-one-minute
No account needed. Tap the Meet link, type your name, press "Ask to join." The district admits attendees at start time — that waiting screen is normal.
iPhone / iPad: works in Safari without installing anything. The first visit asks for camera & microphone permission — fine to allow. The free Google Meet app is optional but slightly more reliable.
Android: same in Chrome; app optional.
Computer: just click the link.
Camera-shy? Keep camera and mic off the whole time — plenty of parents just watch. Unmute only during public comment if you choose to speak.

Getting an item on a future agenda
Agenda requests go to the superintendent's office by 3:00 PM on the Thursday of the week before each meeting. For smaller questions, public comment (above) needs no advance sign-up.
